Good news is that Tony is doing much better. He actually ate some lettuce on his own today. Also I have not gained any Tortoise powers.
I haven't subbed in two days! Hallelujah! Except I am feeling a little guilty like I better get back to work very soon. I have been enjoying doing administrative ministry stuff so much. It doesn't feel like work.
Today I went to Panera Bread to work. I tried their very new and tasty hot breakfast sandwhiches. I was very impressed. I also worked on a full plan for a Community Service ministry at New Day. The idea would be that we would solicit ourselves as a non-profit organization where people can do there community service required by the courts or their school. People could be asked to do simple labor around the church and in the process we would get to know them. It was an idea given to me by Freddie and I think it is awesome. But I knew it had several issues that needed to be worked out, so I worked on them today. And I believe I completed a very good plan. I have given it to Freddie and Wendy to review. On Sunday I will take the plan to the SLT. It's a solid ministry opportunity for the church.
So far I don't have a job for tomorrow either. I am kind of excited about another possible day of working for the church. I hope this doesn't cost me later.
First I may become a tortoise. Tony is very ill. He was dying before my eyes and I didn't even know it. Tony is my tortoise I got for my birthday. Tony should live for 80 years but he hasn't been eating for a long time. I thought he was hibernating, low and behold, he was not. I found this out when I finally got time to take him to the vet. The vet at Arbor Pet Clinic Dr. Turner is a great guy and nursed Tony well. He instructed me on how to force feed my tortoise. I also have to inject Tony with anti-biotics and water. Hopefully Tony will return to health. He already looks a whole lot better. But I accidentally pricked myself with Tony's needle after I used it on him. So I figure I will either get some horrible disease or start becoming a Tortoise, like Spider-Man. Soon, I will be moving slow and hiding a lot.
